GIS - 28 April, 2017: The Business Facilitation (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill and the Supplementary Appropriation (2015-2016) (No. 2) Bill will shortly be introduced into the National Assembly.
The object of the Business Facilitation (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill is to provide for amendments to the legislative framework that are necessary for the removal of constraints in relation to permits, authorisations and clearances to further facilitate the doing of business.
As for the Supplementary Appropriation (2015-2016) (No. 2) Bill, the object is to provide for the supplementary appropriation by votes of expenditure, both recurrent and capital, in respect of services of Government for the financial year 2015-2016, in excess of the expenditure appropriated by the Appropriation (2015-2016) Act 2015, and the Supplementary (2015-2016) Act 2016.
