Mauritius and Ethiopia to strengthen business and tourism ties

GIS - 10 March, 2020: Mauritius and Ethiopia are working towards further strengthening bilateral relations with regard to business, investment and the tourism sector. Political willingness and the sustainable strategy put in place will contribute to reinforce cooperation between the two countries.
This was at the fore of discussions during a courtesy call this afternoon by the Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the Republic of Mauritius with residence in Harare, Zimbabwe, Dr Addisu Gebreigzabhier, on the Prime Minister, Mr Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, at the New Treasury Building in Port Louis.
In a statement to the press after the meeting, Ambassador Gebreigzabhier expressed the interest to use the diplomatic relations established between the two countries to reinforce collaboration in various spheres in the interest of both countries. He reiterated Ethiopia’s intent to consolidate the existing bilateral relationship with Mauritius, and to tap and explore new avenues of cooperation in the trade, investment and tourism sectors.
