PRB report to be published in the first quarter of 2016

GIS - 12 November, 2015: The 2016 Pay Research Bureau Report was initially expected to be released in October 2015 and is now scheduled to be published in the first quarter of 2016. Despite the delay in the publication of the Report, its recommendations will still be made effective as from 01 January 2016.
The Prime Minister, Sir Anerood Jugnauth, gave the above clarifications following a question in the National Assembly pertaining to the forthcoming publication of the PRB Report.
The Prime Minister also underlined that the Director of PRB recently explained that the exercise for the preparation of the 2016 Report has been delayed due to several factors which were beyond the control of the Bureau and has also informed that the Bureau is striving to complete and publish the Report within the new time frame.
