Palestinian Ambassador AbuAli calls on Prime Minister

GIS - 28 February, 2020: The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Palestine with residence in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, Mr Hamdi Mansour AbuAli, paid a courtesy call to the Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, Home Affairs and External Communications, Minister of Rodrigues, Outer Islands and Territorial Integrity, Mr Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, today, at the New Treasury Building in Port Louis.
In a statement, Mr AbuAli highlighted that discussions with the Prime Minister were very productive and fruitful, and that the meeting was also an opportunity to brief the latter on the recent developments in Palestine as regards the American’s Peace Plan. He also conveyed his appreciation to the Government of Mauritius for its continuous support to Palestine and hoped for the same cooperation from Mauritius in the future.
Moreover, the Ambassador expressed the wish for Mauritius and Palestine to further collaborate on potential areas of interest for the mutual benefit of both countries.
