Various activities organised to mark International Labour Day 2017

- 11 April, 2017: The Ministry of Labour, Industrial Relations, Employment and Training is organising a series of activities to mark the International Labour Day 2017.
The activities would include a sensitisation campaign and a brain storming session on the theme “Optimise the collection and use of OSH data - a contribution to the implementation of sustainable development goal 8”.
Moreover, a blood donation day and a wreath laying ceremony at the stele of Anjalay Coopen at Cottage would also be organised.
To celebrate the International Labour Day, arrangements have been made for workers and their families to benefit from concessionary rates at leisure parks, cinemas, hotels and restaurants, and shopping malls.
